About GTWT

Our Mission

Girls Today Women Tomorrow Leadership Mentoring Program (GTWT) provides an environment where girls are mentored to create their own opportunities toward life success while contributing to their community as young leaders.

How do you show up in your life? What values do you have for yourself ? Do you get what you ask for and what does your future hold for you?

Through GTWT, young ladies redefine what it is to be an effective leader of self through commitment and support that can be applied in all areas of life.

The GTWT Community Empowerment Center

Built in 1898 in the Historic Los Angeles Community of Boyle Heights and purchased with a State of California Department of Parks and Recreation, Parks Bond Grant (Villaraigosa - Keeley Act), the Girls Today Women Tomorrow Green Community Empowerment Center will be a model home of "How to Go Green" and an epicenter showcasing the wealth of talents in Boyle Heights and the Greater Los Angeles area.

In partnership with the City of Los Angeles Community Development Department and SCE Federal Credit Union, the house will consist of a professional teaching kitchen / television taping studio, video editing and wireless computer lab, film screening area and community garden. Upgrades will include energy efficient and earth friendly materials and solar panel technology in an open ,modern, loft style interior, while keeping the integrity of the original exterior architecture.
